Mariah Kessler

Mariah Kessler is a passionate agriculture communicator. A 2019 South Dakota State University Agriculture Communications graduate, she took her passion for agriculture advocacy into her education and professional career. Mariah is now the Communications Director for South Dakota Soybean, a collaborative organization between the SD Soybean Checkoff and SD Soybean Association. On any given day, Mariah directs cross-platform communications strategy and execution for SD Soybean projects, including market development, production resources, research, international marketing, transportation, consumer outreach, policy, and new uses for soy. Mariah remains active in her family’s ranching operation, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, painting, gardening, and much time with family, friends, and her cat, Poncho.
