Tyler Samuelson

Tyler Samuelson is the Visionary and CEO for Bouwen, LLC, a trusted business management and consulting partner, dedicated to simplifying operations, optimizing efficiency, and streamlining processes for business success; located in Platte and Sioux Falls, SD. After completing his degree in Construction Management at South Dakota State University, Tyler gained valuable experience working for one of the largest general contractors in the country. However, his passion for entrepreneurship led him back to his hometown of Platte, where he founded Summit Contracting, a full-service on-farm construction company, in 2009. Since then, Summit has expanded to include five additional locations in South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa, with plans for further expansion into neighboring states. Philanthropy lies at the heart of Tyler’s business ventures. He is humbled by the opportunity to contribute to rural revitalization through job creation, housing development initiatives, and the establishment of a community daycare in his hometown. Outside of his professional life, Tyler cherishes spending time with his wife, Katy, and their three daughters.
